Well, I could do without sense,
but I really like my songs
and that is why I'm singing.
Singing for your pence,
or your pennies
or your coins
or your money
... so I can eat?
That is why I'm singing for your pence.

And I find that when I sing my songs,
these things they make so much sense.
And I find as I sing, just sing along with songs,
so many things they make sense.

I can sing about so many things.
Sometimes I don't even know what I'm singing!
